Meditation

Sarah (Prem Jyoti), is a natural born teacher. She has been practicing yoga for over a decade and a few years ago decided to take it to the next level. Her gentle instructions will lead you through a relaxing and rejuvenating series of warm-up, asanas, pranayama and yoga nidra. Sarah flows through her yoga classes with a focus on the breath while moving to the natural rhythms of your body.

 

You can take a class anytime. Beginners welcome. Mats available. 

Maxwellhouse yoga classes are by donation. Sarah teaches on Mondays from 9-11am.

Yoga

Sarah is a certified meditation guide through the Shambhala path.

Her path began through Maxwell House yoga and Winnie Edgerton. After having practiced yoga with Winnie for 10 years, and a breast cancer diagnosis, Sarah joined a Shambhala weekend called The Art of Being Human. Her training and practice has continued and includes serving on the council of both Maxwell House and the Indiana chapter of Shambhala: Hoosier Heartland Shambhala.

You can join a sit that she hosts at the Unitarian Universalist church every Monday from noon- 1pm to develop an appreciation for basic goodness.
