Sarah Flint began sitting in on Dave Baker's jazz improv class upon arriving at IU even though her passions at that time still lay in rock and roll. Performing put her through college with many rock bands including Blue Hugh and the Colortones and The Mixxe. Recording work included a spot on John Mellencamp's Scarecrow album with back-up vocals for R*O*C*K in the U*S*A*. Touring took her around the country with Dr. Bop and the Headliners and around the world with StoneRoad. Sarah ventured into community radio with a morning show on WFHB; The Breakfast Cafe, and shared her love of radio by starting Youth Radio to give airtime to teens. All the while Sarah worked in country bands in the 90's with The Dew Daddy's, Katy May and the Drifters and eventually a run as June Carter with Robert Shaw's Johnny Cash Review.
In the 21st century, Sarah performed as the vocalist for the big band, The Stardusters. The playground soon became busy with Sarah's Swing Set which led to 2 cd projects that are still selling big. The holiday cd is called by everyone; The Perfect Gift.
