Pandemic Pals

"Sarah has been teaching my older son guitar for two years, and recently started teaching my younger son the ukulele.  She is patient, encouraging, and kind. Our older son has mastered several songs over the years and both of them look forward to their lessons with her. Although the lessons have been virtual the last few months, and we do e-learning, I wouldn't consider taking a break. We enjoy them too much!" -Angela December 2020

I ran into some former students at Switchyard Park after playing some music for Food Truck Friday with Christy Crandell. These hard working young musicians were some of my pandemic pals. As a guitar teacher I got to work with great kids. They were also my lifeline. Being useful, and continuing to work at a job I love was such a joy and I was privileged to feel security in a scary time.
