Broken? guitar?

I have a found guitar with 3 strings, all tuned to C and a quarter. the deepest/ lowest string is near my lap, the two higher strings are nearer to my face. I love the droning, dulcimer like sound. I strum with none of the "should be this way", " this chord is called..." thinking.
